Your questions answered
I'm a complete beginner. Which would be the best classes for me?
Try Body Pump, Spinning or Soho Circuit. These classes require little or no special coordination and allow you to work at your own pace. Make sure you have a word with the instructor before class, so that they can give you more options to suit your pace and fitness levels.
Aren't classes for girls?
No! Lots of guys do these classes, and the more the merrier! What should you go for? For those looking for an extreme athletic workout, Body Attack should do the trick: although there are certain aerobic moves, most of the class consists of athletic and plyometric moves to challenge the fittest athletes amongst you. Spinning and Circuit also require no special coordination, and Body Pump will add an endurance element to your strength programme. Dynamic Yoga Flow will challenge your strength and give you long muscles to improve your definition. See you in class!
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable sports clothing, with supportive trainers if you're taking any of the fitness classes. For Yoga, wear comfortable clothing, and remember yoga is done barefoot. If you feel uncomfortable about that, you can wear socks to class. Just let the instructor know.
Do I need to book?
No, but if you want to secure your space, members can book in advance. All of our members can book online up to 6 days before the class (or up to 4 days by calling the club or in person). Ask at reception or call to get your login details.
Can I pay as I go?
Sure! We pride ourselves on our flexibility. Classes from £12 at all gyms.
