1. Who is behind Soho Gyms?
Soho Gyms is the trading name of Ovalhouse Limited, a company owned by the Directors. The controlling shareholders are our Chairman, Jeremy Norman, Derek Frost, Richard Taylor and our Managing Director, Michael Crockett. The group has expanded to six clubs all in central London. There are further plans for organic expansion over the coming years. Our aim is to remain focused on our members and to provide them with a unique sense of belonging without the cold corporate feel found in so many other clubs.
2. How many gyms are there?
At the moment we have six central London sites.
3. Where is Soho Gyms?
We have gyms in Borough, Covent Garden, Earls Court, Clapham Common, Camden Town and Waterloo. For more details of locations, click here.
4. I am only here for a week. Can I train at Soho Gyms?
Yes! We offer daily and weekly memberships, as well as pay as you go classes.
5. How do I know your gyms are a high standard?
All the sites of Soho Gyms are full members of the Fitness Industry Association and meet and exceed all their minimum standards of operations.
6. What qualifications do your staff hold?
All of our staff are duly qualified at level 2 or above on the Register for Exercise Professionals. The status of their registration and qualification can be searched for online at www.exerciseregister.org.
7. Can I use all of the Soho Gyms on one membership?
The peak Freedom Tag Plus membership allows you full, unlimited use of all of our sites. The peak Freedom Tag membership allows full use of Camden Town and Earls Court at any time, and Covent Garden, Clapham Common, Waterloo and Borough during off peak hours.
