Corporate packages

The Company funds the membership as a benefit of employment

  • Good for small to medium sized companies. We will set up a contract with your company at a fixed rate and memberships are due at the start of the contract period. Companies are increasingly offering this benefit in addition to other benefits such as company cars, health insurance and childcare. We accept payment by monthly direct debit or annually (which will attract larger discounts).

The Company makes a partial contribution towards the funding of the membership

  • The Company pays for annual membership fees upfront, and the membership cost can then be recovered from the employee via monthly payroll deductions. If your company decides to pay the VAT element of the membership price, you can pass the 17.5% savings onto your employees.
  • The Company pays all annual fees, but subsidises the amount charged monthly to the employees through a sports/social budget or a similar fund.

  • The Company pays a percentage of the membership fee direct to Soho Gyms, and the members pay the remainder of the fee directly to Soho Gyms, thus eliminating the need to administer payroll deductions.

The Company sets up a Capitation Membership

  • Membership fees will be due fully in advance and will be negotiated on an annual basis.
  • Good for medium to large companies. The Company will pay Soho Gyms a set amount based on the number of employees and an agreed percentage of occasional, regular and inactive users.
  • Costs per member are reduced significantly, which means the Company can offer the benefit to all employees equally.

The Company does not contribute towards membership

  • The Company negotiates a discount with Soho Gyms and promotes the offer amongst its employees. It is then up to the individual employees to take up the offer directly with Soho Gyms.

Health benefits

Research and studies indicate there are many profitable reasons for companies to invest in corporate fitness; most people agree that a fit and healthy workforce is desirable – however research shows that promoting health and fitness to employees brings positive and wider reaching business benefits.

Although lower absenteeism, improved productivity and reduced staff turnover are important factors, employers can enjoy the rewards of less easily measured benefits; Improved atmosphere, recruitment incentives, reinforced company culture and other 'higher level' benefits that raise fitness provision from a humble 'preventative medicine' role to a corporate branding issue.
