The Great British 10k run

Sunday July 12th

A big congrats and thanks!

Need to go out for all who supported our runners on July 12th who ran The Great British 10k run! Daniel, Meaghan, Jazz, Stevie and Andrew had a great day and raised over £2000 for our nominated charity Aids Ark supplying anti viral drugs to people suffering from Aids in under developed countries.

A big thank you to all the friends, family, staff and members who do- nated to help us raise such an awesome amount. Specifc thanks must go to the very generous members at Soho Gyms Covent Garden, and of course the runners!

The route:

Started in Green Park, ran down the embankment along to St. Paul’s and then back along towards Westminster Bridge, over the bridge and then back fnishing at Whitehall.

A bit about the charity

The Mission: To raise funds to purchase generically manufactured, ap- proved, Triple Combination Anti Retro Virals (ARV’s) for the beneft of named individuals with HIV/AIDS. Nearly everyone in the Western world now has access to ARV therapy so the dying in these countries has al- most stopped; even those severely ill with AIDS can become well again. However, in poorer countries, millions are still dying horribly for want of these same drugs. Too often we have heard that the problem is just too large and that nothing we can do will make a difference; we have already proved that this is not true
